ALLERGY SERVICES EXPANDED: Now Testing 28 Types of Allergens for Children
allergy

British Pediatric Center is pleased to announce a major expansion of its Allergy Diagnostic Services, now offering testing for 28 different types of allergens—bringing advanced, child-focused allergy care to families across Ethiopia.

Childhood allergies can be difficult and distressing, often presenting as persistent skin rashes, chronic cough, nasal congestion, digestive discomfort, or unexplained reactions to food or environmental exposure. Accurate diagnosis is essential for effective treatment, and this expanded service allows our pediatric specialists to identify allergic triggers with greater precision than ever before.

What’s New?

With this upgrade, British Pediatric Center becomes the first pediatric facility in Ethiopia to offer comprehensive allergy consultation and management with UK trained Pediatrician and Allergy Subspecialist. We also offer a Skin based allergy test that can pinpoint an immediate reactions to the specific allergen.

Our enhanced testing includes:

  • Specific food allergen testing, helping identify exactly which foods may be triggering symptoms
  • Environmental allergens such as dust mites, pollen, mold, and animal dander
  • Inhalant allergens commonly associated with asthma and allergic rhinitis

This advanced testing capability enables earlier detection, clearer answers for families, and highly personalized treatment plans.

Why This Matters for Children
